The Beginning of a Legacy

The journey began in Sihor (Bhavnagar District) in 1912, when Late Shri Sukhlal Muni laid the foundation with a vision rooted in hard work and passion. Starting his career earning just ₹7 a month, he took a bold step into entrepreneurship with a single product—Penda. That one sweet marked the beginning of a legacy that would endure for generations.

Passion on a Bicycle

At just 7 years old, Shri Shantilal Muni joined the family business, carrying forward the legacy with determination. Travelling by bicycle from Sihor to Bhavnagar, he personally delivered Pendas, building trust and relationships one customer at a time. For the family, sweet-making was not just a trade—it was a way of life.

 A New Chapter in Bhavnagar

With his father’s blessings and a modest investment of under ₹5000, Late Shri Shantilal Muni established the first shop in Bhavnagar. This milestone marked the brand’s expansion from a small-town beginning to a growing name in traditional Indian sweets.

From Few Varieties to Signature Creations

What began with just a few varieties gradually evolved into a diverse range of offerings, while preserving authentic recipes and techniques. Signature creations like Rajwadi Penda, Dry Fruit Halwa, Cadbury Balls, Kesar Mohanthal, Kaju Katri, Pineapple Mattho, Motichoor Ladoo and Churma Ladoo became synonymous with quality and taste, carrying forward the same craftsmanship in every bite.

Standardized Craftsmanship

Since the early years, a unique system of precise measurement has been followed in production, ensuring every ingredient is used in exact proportion. This approach helped maintain consistent taste, premium quality, and customer trust across generations, eventually becoming a benchmark in the sweets industry.

Diversification & Modern Vision

With evolving times, the brand expanded beyond traditional offerings into outdoor catering services, bringing authentic flavours to celebrations and special occasions. The introduction of hand-crafted (Sancha) ice-cream further reflected innovation—made using pure milk, cream, and natural ingredients, completely vegetarian and Jain-friendly, without emulsifiers or stabilizers.

Recognition & Felicitations

The commitment to excellence has been acknowledged at prestigious platforms such as the VISION 2000+ Expo organized by PEATA in Bhavnagar and CUTICON Gujarat 2007. These recognitions reflect a legacy built on quality, trust, and consistency.

Three Generations Strong

From a single product in 1912 to a wide portfolio of premium sweets and namkeen, the journey continues across three generations. Serving families across Saurashtra, India, and beyond, the foundation remains unchanged—tradition, quality, consistency and trust at the heart of everything created.
